The Northeast Metro Marriage and Family Network (NEMMFN)
is committed to stopping divorce in the Duluth, Norcross and surrounding communities. This group is organizing people around the common cause of supporting healthy marriages. They are training people to meet the unique needs of couples and families by equipping them with resources that will help those interested in improve their marriages. By planning events that will connectresources with people in the community, and by developing a plan for the growth and increased impact of their organization. the NEMMFN is charting a course that will help this community develop more healthy marriages and reduce the suffering caused by divorce.
Mission
The NorthEast Metro Marriage & Family Network exists to equip and empower all of the individuals and families in Duluth-Norcross and surrounding communities with the resources needs to build, heal and enrich marriage and family relationships.
Goals
- Reduce the rate of divorce in Duluth-Norcross by 30%
- Increase the marriage rate by 30%
- See that 3 out of 4 couples get good pre-marital preparation and education
- Reduce the out of wedlock birth rate by 87%
